When Olivier dos Santos and me, we had the idea to write an opera, I hardly left my setting in scene of Passion According to Healthy John with Jean-Claude Malgoire. Work on its dramaturgy, in order to adapt it to the opera, had tested me and I wished to write something of expenses and light while trying to transmit a message which holds to me to heart: incapacity human being to be considered it differently than the center of the universe. If God A creates the man it it surely did not do with its image differently it would be ridiculously stupid, which is unimaginable... And if it is not God... for which reason the human being would have an unspecified privilege among the other creatures? My booklet "Paradise's Key" tells that, in the form of an improbable joke where the animals speak, because of our incapacity to understand them...
